Alina Martinescu

Attorney at Law

Alina graduated the Law Faculty of the University of Bucharest and has a master degree in private law and other one in criminal sciences. She has qualified as a trademark patent attorney in 2008 and subsequently as a design and patent attorney.

She is the President of the Romanian National Chamber of Industrial Property Attorneys (CNCPIR) and member of AIPPI.

Her area of practice includes representing clients in all legal proceedings before State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (ROPTO) and European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) (opposition, appeal, revocation, cancellation) and before all national courts (revocation, cancellation, infringement), but also before General Court of European Union and European Court of Justice, dealing also with different kind of legal opinions, negotiation and mediation between the parties.

Alina has a working knowledge of English.
