Cosmina graduated the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest –Faculty of Mechanics and is specialized in fine mechanics. Chartered since 1996, with competence in patents of invention/utility models, trademarks, industrial designs and topographies of semiconductor products. In 2003, she became an European patent attorney. She is also legal technical expert since 2010.
Currently, she is an active member of the Romanian National Chamber of Industrial Property Attorneys (CNCPIR), full member of the Disciplinary Committee, delegate of the Romanian Group to the Council of the epi-Institute of professional representatives before the EPO and secretary of the Romanian AIPPI Group (ANPPI).
Cosmina has plenty of experience in all proceedings for gaining patent protection in Romania and abroad, especially European patents. Her current work includes advising clients on patent matters starting from the preparatory stage of the filing documentation up to the grant, enforcement and transfer of the industrial property rights. Cosmina advises clients on Romanian industrial property law legal issues, with deep knowledge on particular aspects related to labor inventions.
She is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of French and German.
