Manuela graduated from the Faculty of Biology at the University of Bucharest, specializing in Medical Biochemistry, and continued her studies with a Master’s in Microbiology and Biotechnology at the same University.
In 2010, she began her career in industrial property, working in the Patent Department at Rominvent SA. She completed specialized courses at the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM) and obtained certification as both a patent and trademark attorney in 2013. Manuela furthered her professional training with European patent law courses in Strasbourg and Munich.
Currently, she is a European patent attorney. She manages procedures related to national / European patent applications and the validation of European patents in Romania, with a special focus on her areas of expertise: biology, biochemistry, and related fields. She also handles research and changes in the legal status of property rights, SPC filings, utility models, and / or designs, drafting patent applications.
Manuela is a member of The National Chamber of Industrial Property Counselors from Romania and of The Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi).
