Denisa graduated from the Christian University “Dimitrie Cantemir” of Bucharest with a BA in Civil Law and MA in European Integration. She also followed postgraduate studies on Industrial Property Protection at WIPO. She works at ROMINVENT since 1999.
Member of the Romanian National Chamber of Industrial Property (CNCPIR) and European Trademark and Design Attorney (EUIPO), Denisa also acts as the Secretary of the Harmonization Committee of European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) and is a member of the Famous Well Known Marks Committee of INTA and a member of AIPPI.
She has experience with IP strategy and protection; deals with Refusals, Oppositions and Appeals, Harmonization, Madrid Agreement & Protocol, Non-Traditional Marks, Well-Known Marks & Dilution, Geographical Indications, and handles proceedings before the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM) and European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
She is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of French, Spanish, Italian and Serbian.
